About the role
Micla Engineering & Design is expanding its automotive software engineering practice in Tunisia. We are building a team to deliver Basic Software and AUTOSAR platform engineering for a major international vehicle manufacturer, on production programs across infotainment, body, propulsion and automated driving domains.
You will work on real production ECUs, inside a global engineering organisation, with the toolchain the industry actually uses.
What you will do
- Develop and integrate base software layers on automotive microcontroller platforms
- Configure AUTOSAR Classic layers: OS, COM, MEM, DIAG, EcuM, CanIf, Dem, Dcm
- Generate and maintain RTE configuration; integrate middleware stacks
- Contribute to software architecture design and documentation (SysML, arxml)
- Integrate functional safety principles into base software design
- Debug on real and virtual targets, perform timing and resource analysis
Required
Engineering degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or related field
Proficiency in embedded C, with solid understanding of real-time constraints, registers, interrupt handling, static and dynamic memory
Working knowledge of AUTOSAR Classic concepts, architecture and specifications
Familiarity with automotive networks: CAN, CAN-FD, LIN
Professional English, written and spoken — you will work daily with international teams

Hands-on with Vector DaVinci Configurator and DaVinci Developer
Debugging with TRACE32 / Lauterbach
MCU architectures: ARM Cortex-M, Renesas RH850, Infineon AURIX
AUTOSAR OS, OSEK or other embedded RTOS
